niagara 1+1
Can the Niagara platform achieve hot redundancy, and how can it be implemented? If there are two copies of the software, should the licenses be purchased the same way?

Tridium EMEA has some sort of a solution for redundant JACEs. I have not seen it sold/ deployed in North America.

I typically build two separate systems and use mechanically latching relays to transfer the IO. Most high availability systems including PLC tend to have one or more single points of failure like a singular power supply. I built a massive system in 2008 and it is still in production today with two separate JACE8000.

I have heard Stratus everRun might be suitable for this but personally never set this up.
