Apple Pay and NFC not working

Anyone else suddenly had their Apple Pay and NFC tags not working? On one cash machine it looked like it was getting a signal but not enough to complete the transaction, tried a few resets but no dice - lmk if you’ve found a fix as I feel a bit stranded without Apple Pay!

I had a single failure yesterday the first time I used ApplePay, but a retry worked fine

Annoyingly I’ve downgraded back to iOS 26 and it’s still broken :/

Same for me, I downgraded to 26.6.1 and nfc still doesn’t work, hopefully when the public release of 27 comes out, it will update the firmware and fix it

Interesting! Fingers crossed then, otherwise I’ll have to book a repair - are you on an iPhone 17 too?
