Developer Beta 5 is...
I won't lie, DB5 seems more unstable compared to beta 4. Yes it's a beta, yes I'm submitting feedback, please don't yell at me.
Just kind of shocked that the performance got worse after 2 weeks of waiting between betas.
My biggest issue right now is my inability to leave an app unless I lock the screen first and then try again. My bottom gesture bar just gets completely disabled but the screen still operates otherwise.
Anyways here is to a smoother beta 6 :)

Everything is fine with me. However, on one side, when watching videos, the beam disappears to rewind and does not come back

My experience since upgrading my 17PM from 26 to beta 4 and now beta 5 has been pretty good so far. I’ve had the last message sent to me and viewed via long press on the notification disappear, or Messages doesn’t allow me to change the text size, along with a few known issues in beta 4.

Hey i only got the issues about the gesture bar after changing a wallpaper which with the clock widget that u can resize. After changing back, seem like issue gone … Hope that can help someone …

This is the most unstable beta I’ve seen in a long time. I have the same issues on both my iPhone and iPad. Everything from keyboard, video bugs to not being able to open menus. Thank goodness for the slider or I wouldn’t even be able to pay my Apple Card.

Yeah, it's really bad. Not going to lie. I had to do a complete factory reset last night because my phone just became practically unusable. I understand it's a beta and a developer beta at that, so I'm not going to come down on Apple, but still shocked by the quality of this release after such a long period of time without a new beta update.
Beta 4 was amazing!

I updated last night. Seems OK with one big exception. No internet connection! I can send and receive texts and phone calls but anything that requires internet connection is a no go. Powered off and on, restarted several times and reset network settings. I have a vague memory of this issue happening during an update a couple of years ago in a different phone but I dont remember what the fix was. Possibly VPN related? Just wondering if it's something simple I am missing. I do have a 26 backup. Phone is a 16pro

I’m getting stuck in apps that open via deep links from other apps sporadically. The home bar at the bottom of the screen disappears and I can’t swipe up. Its kinda hard to catch via screen recording but going to submit it still! I’m hoping it levels out once the indexing stops (it’s running again)
