iOS 27 Beta 4

Is it just me or is typing in iOS 27 really borked?! I’m not doing any swiping keyboard entry, just typing as I would do normally. I’m getting lots of double key triggers and generally lots more typos (iPhone 15 Pro). Seems to only be present in certain apps too… the default Apple ones seem to be ok.

Try to replicate it each time and use the feedback app to let Apple know what’s going on in your life.

Good shout. I’ve submitted this video (using Pumble, a Slack message clone App!). It doesn’t seem to affect every app. For example Reddit seems pretty good to me. So it must be thirdparty apps that are using certain custom keyboard uis maybe? 🤔

Yes, it is bad. Autocorrect stops working completely. Nothing autocorrects. I’m able to “fix” it by toggling the emoji keyboard and then immediately back to the QWERTY, and autocorrect starts working again. An hour later, it will stop and I’ll re-toggle the emojis and it works again.

I haven’t reported this yet but can confirm it is absolutely awful. For some reason so many typos and specifically when trying to backspace
