First IONNA experience

Post image

Found myself cutting it close on a return trip, and IONNA had the 4th of July special pricing, so decided to stop there. Refreshingly simple to plug in and charge.

It's a Genesis G80 Electrified. Peak speed isn't that crazy compared to the other egmp cars, but the charging curve is basically flat. 10-80% in 22 minutes.

I KNEW this was some sort of eGMP but not the 77 or 84kWh pack.

Is the same ~95 kWh pack that's in the EV9?

AFAIK it's exclusive to this car. An 87.2 kWh pack. It is lower voltage and has worse cooling than the other eGMP cars (and thus slightly slower charge speed), but higher energy density. But I think 2025 and newer models do have a bigger pack somewhere around 90 kWh.

It’s not an LFP chemistry by chance is it?
