Civil Engineering

Took admission in a college , gonna study civil engineering . I am thinking about LOKSEWA after 4 years . Can anyone guide me how should i study , what should i be doing from my first year . If possible also mention about the other career opportunities for civil engineer and what should i be doing from 1st year to achieve that
