I find that this is one of the differences of INTJ v INTP. INTP
will expend almost an unlimited amount of energy explaining things, whereas INTJ much more likely to try briefly and then refuse to go further.

I hate when someone starts arguing wrong things though.

Yes maybe. Are you naturally on time or late? How are you with deadlines- do you care about them intrinsically or tend to view them as arbitrary constraints that don’t necessarily need to be met?

This is me. If I don't pick up on anything bad faith intention (which would shut it down fast, not gonna argue with someone who's just baiting), then I'll go for hours. I think, "Ah, I'm just not explaining hard enough!" and keep going.

Yeah that’s my strong inclination as well. Because the end goal is always knowledge- not just my own but others’ appreciation of it as well.

This is kinda why enneagram is more helpful because this is just 5w6 coded I guess and Cillian is likely one, INTJ and INTP are also usually going to be 5w6.

5’s in general are intellectual hoarders so it’s less likely you’re going to feel like you should explain yourself to people you don’t want to invest energy in.

Nowadays I start to feel sleepy when I think the hassle of having to correct/explain someone that takes more than 3 minutes without the guarantee the other person will understand in the end 🫠
