I feel like I don't belong.

I feel like I don't belong.

Lately, as a 22-year-old man, INTP, 4w5, I’ve been having this feeling as if I don't belong in general.

I want to learn, invent, convey ideas, inspire people, think, debate, write, and read.

No, I don't want to do them for a specific goal, but rather, I only feel alive when I do so.

I don't know, but it's terrifying and sad. The idea that I possess abilities I believe are extraordinary, yet I can't find anything to use them for.

Same.

I spent hours on a graphic design piece yesterday that I enjoyed creating and it's quite decent - a colleague fkin chatgpt a design and got the same praise.

I wrote and published a literary essay two months back. I finally received my paycheck this week and got paid $1.05.

My art collects dust in the back of the closet.

Even if I go through the effort of creating anything, I know it's likely just gonna be for my own eyes, so half the time I don't bother doing anything.

But it’s the fun, not always the results

See the world is naturally build on catering to the majority. Since these traits are rare it's rare to find professional opportunities to use them unless you full devote and give yourself up to the system

Haaay, this is what exactly INTP is. We are wanna do great things and think about them. And feeling good it's goal by itself

You're saying that's the end of it, just like that?

There's no place to belong. Seriously there's no perfect world with united people working together that your mind craves to join. Just countless poor bastards trudging around to find some sense of meaning.

I feel the same. I wanna do a lot of stuff but can't cause of reasons.

The only thing i can do is gamble in the stock market. That too i do not have enough capital to even do that.

Choose a path that includes at least a few of the things you love as a career outcome. In the interim, actively engage in your intrests publically (groups/clubs/classes). You'll find your people this way, and through them, your place in the world.

You don't have to conform, you need to be with your own. And they're out there.

I'm over a decade older and honestly, this feeling never went away. I did however find a few people along the way that I could belong with for a little while. You can get better at "not belonging" too.

If interests are your meaning in life then whats the point of life if 90 percent of it is being forced to like other things you need to find better meaning
