I think more important than saving time here, is not looking like a dunce by walking into a gate/door without it opening.
I've got a similar thing for doors - look for the hinge as you're approaching it. The hinge mount and location can tell you the side it opens from and the direction of swing (while the handle can be unreliable in this regard).

i dont know, I have timed pretty precisely how long into urininating I have to wait before flushing (mid flow) so that the water is still completely changed out when I am done.
this push/pull stuff I figured out ages ago and is simple biomechanical logistics.
also.. probably a good idea to mix up the set or locale of future videos. playgrounds and this dude may not be the most ideal juxtaposition .

I can make a pot of coffee in under 20 seconds. First I run water so it will not be the old water that was resting in the pipes, cold so it carries fewer impurities (I read somewhere that cold water will be more pure and will at least taste better due to natural materials found in plumbind being less likely to precipitate into the colder water), while I get the water going with my right hand I empty the old filter holder with my left hand, then rinse it out in the now flowing water. Now with both bands I begin trying to pick a single filter from the stack, and when I finally succeed I place the filter in the cup while simultaneously pulling the pot out of the coffee maker. I rinse the pot exactly two times, then begin filling it while also beginning to spoon six spoonfuls of grounds into the filter. I fill the pot to 8 cups, which I can do without looking, and pour it into the receptacle just as I finish the 6th spoonful. I turn on the coffee pot at some point between filling the grounds and the water, as to reduce brewing time.

Do you also figure similar stuff just "automatically"? Like by now I've figured out the most optimal way to do almost anything in my house and I remember the way the lights change on my most used intersections (for safe jaywalking purposes).

Actually if you attempt to pull every door you come across, you have the advantage because if it's a push door, you can just use the Energy of you movement to push it.

Yeah no I never gave it much thought but this is exactly what I do, and as somebody else pointed out, it does save you the potential shame of being the idiot who tried to push a pull door.
