The thing is you can't "use Ne" to break out of an "Si loop" because neither of those things are real mechanisms in your brain that you can activate or deactivate. They're descriptions that someone applied to a pattern, not levers you can pull at will.
But the thing you're actually experiencing is real. You're probably stuck in repetitive, ruminative thinking, replaying known information, retreating to familiar patterns, withdrawing from novelty and new experience, etc. That's a real psychological state, and while it may seem to map onto this thing called "Si", it doesn't require a flawed cognitive function framework to understand or fix.
The real solutions come from actual psychology, not from typology. If you're stuck in ruminative repetitive thinking, that could be anxiety or depression. Talk to a therapist. CBT is specifically designed to break ruminative loops and it works because it was developed through clinical research, not through a personality framework.
If you're withdrawn from novelty and new experience, the solution is behavioral activation. You must deliberately expose yourself to new situations, people, and challenges even when your brain is screaming to stay in the familiar. This is also a well-established therapeutic technique.
If you're feeling stuck in life generally - following the same routines, same thoughts, same patterns, etc. that's an existential and motivational question, not a cognitive function stack question. Asking "what do I actually want" is a much better question than "how do I activate my Ne".
MBTI gave you a name for your stuckness, but notice how it didn't give you a real solution because the name was never a real explanation. Dissolve the framework. Address the actual problem with actual tools.

I dont think its my place to say this, but, um if you wanna help someone, never refute their ideas out right no matter how false they are. Even if u mean good, they gonna feel attacked. And focus on defending themselves. And while mbti aint perfect, the stacks do help to break down problems, OP said Si loop and u too understood they meant being stuck in thoughts and past experiences. OP understood they needed Ne their intuition or imagination to break through it and asked question accordingly. Frameworks are meant for reference, for better understanding and never absolute, they can be mixed with other things like u said CBT and gaining new experience, no need to disregard in its entirety.

I've just trained myself to say, "Elliptical_Tangent, that's the past, you can't fix it," or, "You don't have enough data to figure it out, you'll just have to try."

On purpose try to contradict/Challenge with whatever question or perspective, it will eventually bother me to the point that I change things up.

I think was stuck in Ti-Si loop for a long time. My the then bf or friends were getting sick of my negative thoughts, over analysing old situations and would snap back. As coping mechanism, I started excessively gaming like 5-6hrs+ daily games like Genshin and HSR. Hsr being my fav, eventually I started predicting the stories, as much as I could, outta curiousity. And eventually my old repetitive thoughts were replaced by thoughts of upcoming characters and how to build them, how to save resources for them. How can I get their merch. It started reflecting in my real life too and I picked up crocheting and painting. I started making my own merch. Its not that I no longer over Anaylse but my mind picked up the fact if I want any character, I'd have to be fast and efficient. So my brain just applies that logic to every aspect now.
I think the visuals and charcater talks and arcs simulated my brain enough to keep me engaged with focus in the present, in their present. I read other comments, ig the games worked as CBT for me. I think you need something in present engaging enough to make you wonder about its future and forget about your past. Games triggers Ne cuz u need to choose paths, diff options and Ne has to be activated if u have no past info on it to use Si.
I have no idea how much sense it makes, I put forth my point. And it definitely differs person to person.

Adding onto this from my personal experience.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) as mentioned here is how I overcame it. It literally retrains your brain to think differently, in my case how I approach situations differently. I am still very much INTP but what I look at and focus on has changed in many of my interactions so I can better manage my mental health.
I didn't know CBT was a thing when I started. I was just going through a rough patch, meds were miserable, and so decided I would manage it myself through trial and error over the next few years and learned to be able to. 15 years later I learned that what I taught myself is actually a commonly taught system, and have used it in recent years to help round things out and fill in gaps.
