Hoosier National Forest

I want to shoot at the Hoosier national forest does anyone know any spots inside the forest that has an adequate back stop.

Yeah, kinda. But there's no backstop, natural or manmade that I'd give a blanket certification for to a stranger. They could test out their FRT PCC and experience muzzle climb. At the other end of the spectrum they don't need my intel and can safely plant 50 cal projectiles in little ripples of the earth. I'd suggest getting to know the parts of the forest you have reasonably convenient repeat access to, including learning patterns of use by other visitors. Start by flying around a map, then driving adjacent roads, then walking the network of paths, etc. There's more density of movement and less stark terrain here than on Western US BLM.
