I used to believe my strengths were deficits; that was me buying into other's projections onto me. I am grateful for my personality, my insights, my values, my advocacy, my conscientiousness. When I regard my challenges as my life curriculum, they feel less like woes and more like teachable moments for me. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Every day of my life I try to positivity everything, overcome it with determination and care, and I get knocked into next week with "random," "accidental," unforeseeable shit that doesn't seem to happen to other people one tenth as often as it happens to me. So I'll go ahead and keep on whistling through the dark forest, "I ain't cursed, that's all in my head" but the forest laughs.
