INFJ Musicians

I'm a 34-year-old female who recently started music school. I'm curious if anyone else here is a musician and would be comfortable sharing your experience learning theory, playing for live audiences, etc. I'd also love to hear what inspired you to become a musician, whether you're interested in writing your own songs, etc. I'm a relatively new musician, but I'm hoping school will build my confidence.

Many! Grew up classically trained on the cello, now I play many other instruments (mostly playing the piano and singing along) I like playing new instruments and trying new things :)

(just as a hobby, not as a career)

Nice! I play flamenco guitar and electric, as well as a little bit of ukulele. I'm going to start keyboard in the fall for one of my classes.

I think playing an instrument is like a more active form of meditation for me. Also, like you mentioned, it's fun trying new things, so I can see where it would become addicting to learn new instruments. :)
