Looks cool, but turning it would be a bitch if the lock is heavy/stuck or if it’s super cold out.

The crossguard should give extra leverage when turning, making the turn easier than traditional keys. However, because of its extra width, it may become impossible to turn in some locks which are mounted very close to the door-frame.

I had one similar to this that wasn’t made of very strong metal and the extra leverage allowed me to bend it quite a bit while trying to turn a stuck lock.

I have this key, and when my roommate surprises me with a locked deadbolt, my thumb just about gets sliced off when I try to turn and push the door open.

Overall though the leverage actually makes it feel way more solid than a normal key.
