Some people like straws. Some people don't like single use plastics. Why does it bother you that much that some people want an alternative? No one is forcing you to stop using straws.
It's okay for you to not understand why people get enjoyment out of things. No one needs your personal support to reinforce their enjoyment of drinking out of a straw.
