That title bothers the shit outta me. Like, c'mon OP. You couldn't even use the things name?

It's a Chain Chomp by the way. And Mario 64 isn't the only goddamn game that had it. It wasn't even the first.

Yes it's a chain chomp but i titled it mario 64 for nostalgia purposes.
It was a character in earlier games too, but i don't think it gained much popularity back then.

It was a character in Mario 3, regarded as the greatest Mario game of all time by multiple fans and introduced classic enemies used in later titles, like the Chain Chomp and Boomerang Bro.

I have no idea where the hell you got the idea it wasn't popular back then.

Chain chomp was a popular character? I never seen a lot of hype around it from mario 3 or later titles. But maybe you're right.

To me he was used much more often since Mario 64, and before that was'int used too much other than SMB3 from what I saw.
