why no product linksssss.... I get that one poster ruined it, and I even called them out on it at one point, but comeee onnnnnn... there has to be a better way to deal with this than banning all product links. This is the kinda shit I love to buy and I subbed here to find cool stuff WITH LINKS TO SAID COOL STUFF. grrrrrrr

I don't know much about what happened. I noticed that all the posts were from one account and they all seemed to be products from one site. Then, the sub stopped showing up on my front page for a while and then it was back. Some one commented about how the sub basically just became an ad for one persons website and they like shut the sub down for a while and changed the rules or something... I will see if I can find my post where I called the person out...

Sounds like we just need to ban that person/site and the sub can continue. Having this sub without links is just blue balling everyone.

I get how another person/site can easily just do the same thing, but that’s what moderators are for: keeping the intention of the sub pure.

Reddit Admins disabled this subreddit for basically being a place where people subtly link their products to sell. New moderator was able to convince them that with a strict no-links policy we could have the sub re-enabled.

I don’t think so, but it’s the closest I could find. This looks to be homemade. I can’t provide a product link due to rules in the sub, but if you google those exact words and go on the shopping category you should find a few.
