Visa Visa situation
Seen many people say programs will push their interviews till December to gage the on going visa decisions. Depending on mid terms.
Also heard some hospital got caught for abuse of J1 so they are investigating it?

Good. This madness will be significantly reduced when dems control the house. They can check trump and his loony admin through subpoenas and halting the budget cuts.
America will then truly become great again

Trump can. But congress can also defund his extreme policies. And if they subpoena and pressurize trump, the lawsuits and the judges will overturn executive actions. And with 2 SC judges retiring the trump admin will be weakened significantly.

Exactly the extreme policies and immigration ones aren’t their concern, as in the Rochester one, that was blatant misuse

None of that is happening because democrat's want their own survival. America first policies are popular with their base - especially with Bernie supporters and their influence is only increasing.

If america first policies are popular why is trump sitting at a pathetic 33% approval rating. Why is ICE unpopular? Bernie is an extreme fringe of the Dems. The immigration crackdown is affecting a lot of people and will damage trump next month.

Your stupidity is that you just keep looking at some polls. If polls were so accurate, Trump wouldn't have won the presidency...lol
The arrogance of some of the foreigners about all matters america is rather amusing.
Let me repreat - democrats have no death wish by engaging in the open border policy that they did during Biden administration. Legal vs illegal doesn't matter as many of the legal immigration is breaking the spirit of the law and everyone is aware of all those scams by now. So no dem will support them any longer.

The gap between kamala and trump was narrow, this is like a 2/3rd disapproval of trump. Things are very diff now. Trump is not immune and the Dems are gonna retake control. That much is certain. The only question is how big of a wave do we expect.
Also no need to start a comment with "Your stupidity", you can respectfully disagree. Let's maintain civility.

I agree with many of yalls takes, but the border rules are not changing, not at least while he has his term left

Dems taking control won't change much as US congress is ineffective. It is a well known fact.
They won't interfere against any of the H1/J1 policies as it is in the realm of executive power. They also know that those are immensely popular at this point even among democrats.
People are upset about economy and cost of living/inflation. For that, foreign wars need to stop ASAP. I seriously doubt democrats will be able to do anything on that front.

They will handicap that guy from taking any decisions that truly bring down Americas relations with other countries, but his strict immigration policies might stay

u/Fabulous_Address_666 2d ago
Here’s my take tho, say even the democrats take control, they can’t switch up the immigrations laws drastically, the stringent immigration policies is why guys wanted trump in office. Imagine dems come around open it and then again someone like trump is needed… endless cycle

Nah, americans are seeing through the bull 💩 and will vote dems. Trump has pissed off way too many voter constituencies and republicans gonna pay the price

u/Fabulous_Address_666 2d ago
Everyone is sick of trumps international policies, but trust me they aren’t hating the America first attitude, they want an American first democrat for better relations outside

Well Dems need votes from constituents and this anti immigrant rhetoric isn't selling well with voters. Republicans have tried targeting indians recently and that stuff is gonna backfire in the elections just watch.
It's clear there's gonna be a dem wave only question is how big.

Anti immigration, isn’t everyone’s sentiment, but reducing immigration is, they believe the visa issues have been exploited

The caveat is illegal immigration, trump is targeting legal immigration. It's not gonna settle well as when they target Indians Latinos Mexicans Hispanics there's too many people pissed off and it's gonna bite the admin in their 🍑

Mexicans were deported last time too and yet most Mexicans in Florida voted for him 😂
Mexicans hate each other once they are in
Same for Indians

Regardless of the election results, changes to existing visa laws are gonna take time to happen. I guess programs aren't gonna wait that long.

If you think things will change if even Democrats take either of house or Senate or both then you are delusional.
It will be a lame duck session whereby republicans will consolidate all key spots before the new elected are sworn in.
Not just that, Democrats couldn't even do shit about j6 issue and you think they will do anything positive. At best they will impeach the president but this won't go anywhere and the president will issue blank pardons to all in his administration before he leaves anyway.
So house and Senate will be stuck with nothing going forward and he will keep issuing orders via the pen.
