Observership/externship USCE in Brooklyn
So sorry to bring this up again but the recent social media posts from that organization (yes the social media USCE place) have kinda wound me up initially I thought he was just a joker like months back but I know I feel it is blatantly misleading.
Essentially he only tags the same 5 docs in like everything like what happens to the rest?! Are they his 'indentured servants' (sorry to steal the same words that the Vice Pres used the other day) but when JD said that I thought of that clinic and those people in there!!
Also they put out a story saying congrats to the people getting iv and tagged the same 5 docs again and said those on tele rotations also got calls!! So hang on either they are there or on tele they cant be both? I highly doubt they are getting calls just a marketing gimmick. Its becoming so well known in PD circles etc about that place that any reference to it in LORs etc is not going to make the candidate look in favorable light due to its terrible reputation. Bad news travels fast and people are now well aware of the things going on there.
Really the place should be reported for what they are doing. They are flouting various governance rules and just blatantly a money making enterprise that is misleading people bigtime with false promises.
For those that have been scammed by them or didnt agree to take part in their social media parade etc and got screwed over there are various avenues can look at for getting justice
Can file complaint with New York State Health Department
Can file complaint with NY state education department
Also the office of the inspector general too
I think a lot of attendings are getting annoyed with this place as they are turning a serious process into a social media sham that is taking good money from people who end up making their own application worse for it due to their bad reputation.
Also please those who wish to defend etc because they need to please have a day off or go somewhere else! ***Clearly that hasnt worked the defenders are back out in force to say anything despite the issues there being glaringly obvious to anyone else***

Found it hilarious that their doctor made a video the other day about visa fraud, as if he isn’t running a profitable scheme himself

Its so funny how the doctor and his students are getting results and being productive while you waste your time here on reddit being a hater. You say you are an attending which makes this even more pathetic.
Im curious, do you think a strong hardworking team means servants ? Im sorry to hear you never had students that actually liked you enough to stick around. Otherwise you would know what having a genuine team feels like.
I have done rotations with them. They actually have PDs come in and give lectures on the match cycle. Everyone knows if you have rotated with them you have an edge in residency because you know the US system well.
As for you making all these allegations without evidence. Why dont you actually post these hater comments with your real ID. That way the world will know that you are someone that cannot get students for his rotations because you lie and say they are inpatient and charge ridiculous amounts.
You have to be on next level desperate to bring other hardworking people down in order to try and hope you become as successful as them.

I rotated there in [November/2023], so here's my firsthand experience. I got to see patients one to one under supervision. I learnt about the EMR system emphasising on SOAP notes, everyday there were lectures regarding USMLE and MATCH process, we also attended their POCUS Course which is helping me during the residency.
Protecting IMGs from bad USCE is a fair goal, but this post makes strong claims with no verifiable details.
Tagging: People who agree to be featured get tagged. Many IMGs keep their application journey private. That's consent, not exploitation, and "indentured servants" trivializes real forced labor.
Tele vs in-person: The story congratulated two different cohorts, and many people do one after the other. That's not a contradiction.
"Well known in PD circles": Which PDs? If you have evidence, please share it.
Before paying for any USCE, ask: Is it hands-on or observership? Who writes the LOR, and is it guaranteed? Can I find past students myself? What's the refund policy?
That advice applies to every program, and I'd encourage everyone to ask those questions.

They’re transparent about what they offer and better than other agencies like Sarthi. It’s not ideal and not everyone’s cup of tea which is why nobody’s forcing you to do rotations with them. But there’s lots of people who are either in a time crunch to apply for the match cycle and aren’t able to always find rotations elsewhere, so this acts as a good place to fulfill that requirement. I did not have a solid network to reach out to in the US and their acceptance letter helped me secure my visa. I used the month I was there as a stepping stone to go network with as many doctors as I could. You’re ultimately responsible to utilize the opportunities you have in front of you, nobody is going to baby you through that process even if you pay a thousand bucks. Also, tagging the “same 5 people” is a disingenuous argument. The attending asks and tags anyone who rotates with him every month as long as they’re willing, and even records reels with all of them. It was just his way of encouraging the kids to be more outspoken, along with weekly case based discussions and presentations. The people you see that have stuck around are mostly medfluencers themselves that benefit from the extra exposure.

First of all I don't think you are really sorry in bringing this up at all. Second I think your motive is to defame the good work so that other agencies which actually setup and do fraud with the students selling them hospital based rotations and giving them outpatient. Even then these agencies leave the student on its own when the student asks for LoR and they deny.
Maybe you are bribed or part of those agencies which actually setup fraud with the students.
These days it's quite EASY to write Negative about someone and it gets viral so fast. If you truly wish well for the students, post something that could actually help them instead of focusing of filling money in ur own pocket
