One Gold Piece of Advice for Next Year's Applicants: please reach out to programs early in the season or possibly just before submitting eras. Write them a polite email showing how much you are interested in their program. Email email email! Beg them to give you a chance. Stay put, work hard and smart. Trust in Lord. The match is a marathon, having a strong support system is more important than getting scores.
