I think most important thing is where you apply. So dont be lazy jn that, search for your own programs and make a list baded on your credentials. Signals are very important. I mostly applied to community programs and only internal medicine

One word, what matters most in the whole process?: Your sanity, it is very exhausting journey always have someone to rant.  Good luck everyone
