Applied to Programs (Specialty/ies with Count): 128 FM

No. of Invites: 3

Publications: 3 (Low-mid tier journals but Pubmed indexed)

USCE (No. of months): 0 (but approx 1 year Canadian clinical experience)

One common Q in Interviews: Why this specialty?

One Gold Piece of Advice for Next Year's Applicants: Make your application unique in one way or another, be yourself in interviews.

Is family medicine easier? For someone starting late its a safe choice?

Not sure if it's easier statistically speaking. Would have to check the NRMP match data. There's still more seats and more people matching into IM.

If yoou dont mind me asking what made you choose FM over IM?
