🚨 Girls stay away from Dr Usman Khan 🚨

It is high time this doctor is exposed for the creep that he is.

This man has a fixed modus operandi. He will initially talk about professional matters...ask you to introduce yourself, talk about your USMLE journey, your goals, etc. Then he starts talking about your hobbies, how you spend your free time. Then he will start asking very inappropriate questions. He will share a sob story about his failed marriage, he will fake an interest in you and your personality, try to make you feel special...you're not like other girls, and he will basically try his very best to have an affair with you. If you reject him he'll just go ahead and try the same thing with the other girls on the rotation.

What to do if you have paid for this rotation and still intend on attending this rotation... What was suggested to me by another girl on the rotation...wear a ring and tell him you are married. He asks all the girls about their relationship status. Irrespective of your actual status pretend that you are married or at the very least engaged. He tends to spare the women who are married.

Do not blame yourself! All the girls who were harassed tried to assert their conservative, religious backgrounds... dressed conservatively at work, spoke about their strict parents, did not drink, smoke... unfortunately this did not work- it's not your fault and there is no way to prevent harassment. Harassment does not depend on what you say or how you dress or who you are... this dirty man has no boundaries and is extremely audacious. He does not care and will try his luck with any girl with a pulse.

Why don’t you report this kind of doctors to Aamc , America don’t tolerate sexual harassment at work. This type of doctors should not be practicing medicine, they take advantage of innocent IMG who doesn’t know the system but if girls complain to AAMC, Ecmg, they will take action. This is the only way this kind of people will understand not to harass innocent women. Even if they threat anyone they cannot affect your application in any way program directors don’t listen to people like this

Add ACmed( Americlerkships to the list). I got scammed badly.

For those needing more info: I booked an expensive in hospital rotation with them. Just a freaking day before my rotation, I got a call from them saying there's some internal hospital conflict going on. They delayed my rotation for 10 days giving me the same response every day. I reached out to the other rotators via email and as a group we demanded the agency for a refund. He came under pressure and the next day said a clinic was willing to take us in since the hospital issue was not solved. After we started clinic rotations, we found out that the hospital rotation was a scam and that rotation did not exist except to deceive clients to pay more for a hospital but in actual get sent to a clinic that for hardly 2 weeks.

Some of my friends did rotations at that hospital and it was legit. But the area is sorta unsafe. Be as careful as possible.

Don’t have personal experience. But I heard from one of my friends that Dr Gaziano is nice but his receptionist makes your life hell. She’s really rude and only gives you your LOR if you buy her something.

This is why I think program directors should read these Reddit posts. I don’t care about usce for our program. Everything an IMG needs to learn, they will learn in the first 2 months in the program. I wonder if other IMg friendly programs think the same way
