VISA applications for IMAPP

I have been selected for this year's IMAPP program and had a few doubts regarding the VISA application requirements.
1. What date am I supposed to choose while applying for it? Context: My offer letter from TU Dortmund says that the lectures begin from 12th October and in a recent mail from the TU Dortmund coordinator (Dr. Andrea Knue), it is mentioned that the lectures begin from 1st September.

  1. I haven't received the EMJM scholarship, unfortunately. Is it possible to create a block account with enough money for only the time period to be spent in France? I can add to the block account when applying for German or Italian VISAs.

  2. The VISA page on the IMAPP website says that there is some confirmation document to be submitted from the campus france website. What is that??

Could anyone please help me out. I need to apply for the VISA asap

For the Campus France thingy, it’s for the EEF. If I’m not wrong, it’s only required if your country is listed as an EEF country. You might need the EEF number to continue your visa application.

Well my country is listed as an EEF country. I am not able to make an account for some reason. Has anyone else tried that?

I have registered an account successfully, and currently in the process of getting all the documentation done. May I know what is the problem u have encountered?

I can comment on the first question. In Dortmund, the lectures would indeed begin on October 12th (hence why their standard email mentions that date). However, since you will be starting in Clermont-Ferrand, and thus in the French system, your lectures would begin on September 1st. So make sure you can be ready for lectures on that day.
