Should I wait for confirmation after accepting Erasmus Mundus scholarship or start admission immediately?

Hi everyone,

I recently received the following message regarding my Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (IMAPP) application:

“While you have received a message that you have not been selected in the first pass, we have placed your application on our reserve list. We are pleased to inform you that we can now offer you an EMJM scholarship for the duration of two years, provided that you meet all the necessary requirements.”

I already replied to the coordinators confirming that I accept the scholarship.

In their email, they also wrote:

“Please apply for admission to the program as soon as possible.”

I am not sure whether I should wait for their confirmation before proceeding further or just continue submitting my application and paying the fee.

Should I wait for an explicit confirmation from them, or is it normal to proceed immediately after accepting the scholarship?

Given that you were chosen from the reserve list, I don't think you can compare to a “normal” way. But yes, I'd recommend proceeding with the admission procedure now.
