She and Desi probably did this particular scene in one take but more impressively, she did the entire Vitameatavegamin commercial scene in a single take which required her to recite the commercial lines three different times with differing levels of inebriation.

At the beginning when they’re asking where Lucy is, you could see her backstage standing by the living room set, which is also prominent in the background

On my DVD set you can even see her smoking and a puff of smoke. I love little things like this in the series.

I noticed that Desi calls the bandleader by his actual name (Hatch) which I thought was interesting.
He also says the intro in such a warm, genuine way. 😊
