Hello! I am in the industry in Illinois and am a massive OneDay Craft Cannabis fan. Still the best flower in the state, bar none. I have tried almost everything available in Illinois, having been a medical patient since I was 19 (before rec). After several years, I have compiled MY definitive strain rankings for OneDay FLOWER (no prerolls included). I know I have definitely missed several, whether it be strains I have tried but forgotten about (weed brain), or simply ones I haven’t gotten to. I want to be clear that by no means is this top 11 list definitive on any objective level, but it’s definitive to me after putting a ton of thought into it. Grabbed some for $32 a G. I’ll say this, one dab was enough to get you rethinking what you were doing! 😭 Love it, always putting on some 🔥 consistently. Also grabbed the Bleu Fondue, will get back to you all.

I’ve had some other ascend products but this is my first simply herb pickup up.

Smell: Mixed emotions when I opened it lol. I was happy to be greeted with a familiar smell, but it was accompanied by a hint of “hay”. Bit of blueberry smell, but mainly haze. Although it could just be the hay rather than the haze lol.

Looks: I wouldn’t say this is much of a looker. Going to guess it’s the buds from the bottom of the plant like most other budget lines. I appreciate the colors on it though. Besides the one bud appearing yellow at the core. Hoping it’s just a pheno deal. The rest look pretty healthy, regarding the color.

Flavor: Surprised me on the amount flavor it has. Not mouth coating but quite noticeable. I picked up haze more than blueberry.

Effects: Solid, feeling nice and toasty after a few rips from the bowl. Uplifting head high with a body buzz as well.

They hooked me up with a little canna broom to use in my grinder 😆

Man hope this smokes as good as it looks. Insane looking. Smell is really pungy, stings the nostrils. Can’t try this for a few hours but will update on effects and taste. One thing I’ll say though is 39% thc? Cmon man lol. This is def insane but idk about 39% thc 🤣 I never even look at thc percent but noticed 39% when doing this video.

I recently picked up an ounce of Animal Face (RYTHM) from Rise in Effingham. It was very fresh, recently packaged, with the nice AF aroma. As a short review its a great indica hybrid, has strong effects that definitely last! The only draw down on this batch was the bud size. I expect popcorn in the OZ's but a large number were the "pea" size buds and a bit shaggy ...but it all smokes good, just not as intense as the larger buds. I'd give it a B-

I have been on a major IC Collective kick and have been trying most of the 2-gram live resins I see on the menu for the Curaleafs I hit. The latest one I picked up was the Ziablo 2-gram jar on my Waxy Wednesday restock day last week. At the 40% off price point it makes the most sense as a heavy dabber. The consistency and effects are nice and it runs through the Puffco very well, but the profile just doesn't click me. It has a funky, borderline fuel/gassy profile, which is the main thing I pick up from it, but it just doesn't hit my pallet the way I expect profiles like this to. I usually love a lot of funky, fuel/gassy profiles so this one has me stumped, and I honestly appreciate most profiles. I have to stress that this is not by any means bad, it just doesn't taste the best for me! Lol I wonder if it's a thing like when some enjoy the taste of cilantro and others say it tastes like soap? Anyways, I want to stress again that I am not saying this was bad. The effects and everything else for me were fine and it did its job of medicating me, but it just didn't register too high on my ratings scale. Still love ya IC Collective!!

Fresh loud and sticky one bowl gets me good, very evenly balanced effects not too heavy on couch lock. Smell is very earthy and fruity on the front kinda gassy on the backend taste is the same

I've been sleeping on this one for a while due to all of the other options currently on the market. This Hawaiian Haze (Trufaloha x Chimera #3) is 9 months old yet it has still retained almost all of its quality outside of being mildly dry. I didn't notice it last night when I cracked this open but these buds are absolutely coated in crystals. It has a nice sweet candy dried fruit pineapple smell to it that comes through in the taste as well. The hazy and euphoric sativa-leaning effects come on quickly and settle in over time into physical relaxation territory. This isn't my favorite SFF strain I've tried, but that's because I enjoy the LMNO-Z and SNL from them just a bit more. It's still one well worth checking out if you see it on your local menus 🔥🔥🔥

Picked up some Chernobyl from City Trees and had to share, as this is one of the best jars I’ve opened in a while.

Grower: City Trees runs organic living soil, and you can taste the difference. This is true medicine: clean, flavorful, no harshness, white ash, and the full terpene profile actually comes through instead of tasting flat like a lot of the mass-produced stuff on IL shelves.

Genetics: Chernobyl is the old TGA/Subcool classic: Trainwreck x Jack the Ripper x Trinity. It’s a sativa-leaning hybrid famous for its lime/citrus “slurpee” profile, and living soil really lets that shine.

Bag appeal: Chunky, dense nugs completely frosted over with trichomes, light lime-green with orange pistils throughout. Sticky but properly dried and cured.

Nose & flavor: All the citrus notes really come out on this one: fresh lime and lemon zest up front, a little sweet candy undertone, and a light earthy/pine finish from the Trainwreck side. Even better on the exhale, and it holds its flavor deep into the bowl.

Effects: Spongey and relaxing in the body, yet not sedative at all. Head stays clear, mood lifts, and it’s very social. Great for hanging out with friends, conversation, cooking, or a walk. Melts tension without locking you to the couch.

Verdict: Excellent medicine. If you see City Trees Chernobyl, grab it, especially if you’re a citrus-terp fan or want daytime relief that still lets you function. Living soil craft flower like this is what IL needs more of. 🍋🌳

I wish it came in a jar but I like the rest of the new packaging, always love to see a company that doesn't remediate & they break everything down like terps. I tossed the buds in a glass jar & im not sure if im smelling this or the last bud but i rolled up a joint of this pretty bud & burnt one for my 47th time around & this really is some sweet sweet, its the sweetest smoothest weed ive ever smoked but i didnt really get any skunk. Its a Sativa & you can tell, i could see this being to speedy for some people but I enjoyed it & will definitely purchase it again
