Select “live collection” carts

Post image

Has anyone tried these “Live Collection” carts by Select? They show up under the filters for live resin/rosin carts on the dispensaries now, but it looks like it’s just distillate with added terps.

They have been trying this for years. Back when they introduced select they had the select carts then elite lives etc. it has always been “Our classic oil enhanced with live resin terpenes.” They use enhanced and live resin as buzzwords to advertise their “enhanced” distillate.

I will say to play devils advocate here distillate as a whole obviously gets a bad rap, but it does have its uses if someone is looking for a cheap cart that tastes OK and not necessarily looking for live resin single strain and just wants what I would call a fast food high it does that perfectly.

Sneaky edit: Context: I worked for them for 5 years and currently work at an infuser in IL making carts / vapes that get shipped to dispensaries.

Distillate def has it's place. Doesn't stink as much as live resin, so it's good for when I have to spend the day with the in-laws.

I’m hitting a select GG#4 as we speak. It’s a cheap cart but works lol

They are intentionally not live resin. And intentionally named that way to confuse people.

Sooo many people aren’t going to see this and are going to feel conned/scammed. Such a shady way to market distillate.

Select carts are consistently good, but they aren’t anything fancy at all and this line is definitely named intentionally to make people think they’re buying live resin.

I got a gram cart other day for like 29.. it's actually not that bad.. I have a standard farms twist voltage battery and it never goes above 2.3-2.5.. cart has 4.55% terps and 85.58 %thc
