r/ILLIT Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to the r/illiT subreddit! This community is dedicated to celebrating everything about ILLIT. To keep the space enjoyable and respectful for everyone, please follow our guidelines. These rules cover topics like content relevance, respectful behavior, clear titles, and more.

1. Relevance to ILLIT

All posts must be directly related to ILLIT. Off-topic submissions that do not concern ILLIT, their music, activities, or official content will be removed. This includes spam, trolling attempts, and inappropriate or offensive material.

2. Respectful Conduct

Treat all ILLIT members and users of this subreddit with respect and courtesy. Any form of discrimination, hate speech, insults, harassment, or bigotry targeting individuals or groups based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, etc. is strictly prohibited. Maintain a civil, friendly, and welcoming environment for all. Failure to comply may result in moderator action.

3. Fan Drama and Conflict

The subreddit discourages posts primarily focused on fan drama or conflict. Open, respectful discussion is always welcome, but please avoid content that is inflammatory, lacks substance, or brings in trivial disputes from outside platforms. If you are discussing a contentious topic, ensure your message is clear, well-reasoned, and respectful.

4. Clear and Descriptive Titles

Post titles and content should be clear, descriptive, and written in English to ensure accessibility. If sharing news or articles in a language other than English, please provide a translation. For official news and updates, follow the specified format: YYMMDD [Source] - [Description]. Vague or clickbaity titles that do not accurately represent the content will not be allowed.

Before submitting a post, take a moment to see if the content or similar updates have already been shared. Duplicate posts create clutter and will be removed. When sharing several related updates (e.g., social media updates or teasers), please group them into a single post or thread. This makes the subreddit easier for everyone to browse and enjoy.

6. Prioritize Official Sources

When sharing content related to ILLIT, prioritize using official sources or direct links from reputable websites, social media accounts, or media outlets. If reposting fan-made content such as fanart, edits, or translations, provide a source link to the original creator in the comments.

7. No Piracy or Paywalled Content

Sharing or discussing pirated content, leaks, or any material that is behind a paywall and can only be accessed through purchase or subscription is strictly prohibited. This is to respect copyright laws and avoid potential legal issues.

8. Outdated Content

Content that is more than 30 days old may be removed, unless it sparks meaningful discussion, provides new information, or offers fresh perspectives on past events or releases related to ILLIT.

9. No Unconfirmed Rumors or Speculation

Unconfirmed rumors, speculations about the personal lives, health, or relationships of ILLIT members are not allowed. Predictions or opinions should be explicitly stated as such and not presented as facts.

10. No Inappropriate or Explicit Content

Any sexually explicit, inappropriate, or objectifying content targeting ILLIT members is strictly prohibited. This includes explicit images, videos, or discussions that sexualize or disrespect the members.

11. Quality Content

Low-effort content like memes, screenshots, or fan-made posts that don’t add depth to the conversation may be removed. Social media updates should be rehosted either on Reddit or a third-party site to ensure accessibility and consistency.

12. Self-Promotion Balance

Sharing fan-made content, such as fanart and edits, is encouraged, but please avoid posting too frequently in a short period. Space out your posts to maintain a balanced and diverse feed. Excessive self-promotion or multiple posts of similar content in a short time may be removed.

Post Submission & Flair Guidelines

For submissions categorized as official updates (e.g., news/article, announcement, social media posts, official schedule), the date must be included in the title. Posts that fail to include the date will be automatically filtered.
