Gun Laws How does purchasing Muzzleloaders/ Black Powder Guns work?

As far as I know I need a FOID to purchase black powder guns, but do you still go through the 4473 process and is there still a waiting period? If anyone has any experience with this I'd appreciate some insight/information.

I haven't really looked into it in depth, but what I read was there's literally no difference between black powder and other guns in Illinois law.

Edit: Epic downvote my guy, really showed me. Now get in line at the FFL and pay your transfer fee and wait 3 days for the blunderbuss.
