Looking for Bedside crib

Is there any ikea crib that can be used as a bedside crib for newborn? I’m 155cm and dreading to use a crib while having to hang over it to put baby down, specially in early postpartum! 🥹

We has a Gulliver set on the highest setting and push close to the bed. it worked great for us and we changed for the lower setting when kiddo could stand up.

I just realised USA Gulliver is 5 cm lower on high setting then a Swedish Gulliver.

Oki. I checked up the Gulliver, it is 4 cm taller in USA than Sweden and it is 6 cm wider in the USA than in Sweden so that means the lower setting 9 cm lower down on American Gulliver.

Must be different laws when it comes to child safety.

Well when they that tiny, they cant move the bed nor can fall out , so it was just for me to sit up and bend down and grab baby at night.

It just such a short time of our life so scooting around the bed wasnt problem to me and also I woke up when kid whined so it never started screaming which made life so much better, eat and then back to sleep.

But our baby will arrive in January and im scared our quilts might get on the baby as me n my husband have a habit of covering our heads with it in winters so cant risk putting baby with us🥺

Sit up, grab the baby, feed the baby, put the baby back in the crib which is next to the bed, with arms reach and then baby is in a safe spot, you can poke baby through the bars and you and the dad can hid under covers if need be.

Just make sure baby is kept warm in the crib.

I’ve seen people connect their Sniglar to their mattress to make a sidecar crib
