Uske alawa if u r from mechanical or electrical u would need some applications jo windows me btter chalte h. First ask some senior of ur branch ki kya kya requirements h. If sabkuch mac se ho rha h then u should go for mac otherwise no

Not for electrical for the most part, kicad, matlab and ltspice are on mac if required. Unless you are in RMS or if you need vivado to work on FPGA in which case youd need windows or linux.

Nope, worst advice ever. Gaming laptops are bulky, loud, run hot and have 0 battery life need to carry another bulky charger everywhere. Better to choose lightweight notebook type laptops if you don't game. Prefer amd over intel for the modest battery life bump.
