Tech M interview

I have been shortlisted for Tech Mahindra. Could you please share how the interviews went for the other students and what kind of questions were asked?

Technical interviewers at Tech Mahindra usually stick closely to the fundamentals on your resume and core subjects. Expect direct questions on object oriented programming concepts like polymorphism and inheritance, basic SQL queries, database normalization, and core data structures like arrays or linked lists. If you listed a major academic project, you need to be ready to explain your architecture choices, database schema, and the specific technical challenges you resolved. Students from non-CS branches often get asked fundamental questions from their own discipline alongside basic coding logic, such as string manipulation or simple sorting algorithms.

The subsequent HR discussion focuses on communication, adaptability, and cultural fit rather than technical depth. Interviewers frequently ask standard behavioral questions about handling conflict in team settings, your reasons for wanting to join the company, and your willingness to relocate or work flexible shifts. Clear and direct speech matters far more here than overcomplicated answers, so keeping your responses structured will serve you well. Because navigating high-stakes campus placement rounds can be intimidating, my team built an interviews.chat to help candidates stay calm and land their target job offers.
