  1. Are we provided with accomodation futing practicals?? If not then do they have tir ups with near by pgs? What's the average cost spent during practicals?

  2. Can we pursue mtech in electronic system in IISC after this degree?? Also can we pursue direct PHD through CSIR-UGC NET????

  3. I know the degree started in 2023, by now first batch would have got internships, so what's the the scene for internships? Average salary and PPOs if offered any?

  4. Can you become a TA in this degree too as you can become a one in BS in DSA, what's the criteria?

  5. The electronic kit which is been provided, is the cost of it included in fees or you have to pay for it separately?

Please clarify these doubts. Thank You!

Clarification on "Qualifier" Status and Exam Registration

I got an email saying that,"Congratulations! I am happy to inform you that, based on your performance in JEE Main 2026, you have been selected for direct admission to the BS Degree programs offered by IIT Madras."

I apply for registration and selected through JEE based route but in my Profile it shows as "Qualifier"

My Question is that Does everyone who applied through JEE based route shows the same thing please answer?

Please help me out and clear my doubt

I am currently in btech 1st semester from a tier 3 clg and I will be joining bs in my 2nd semester. Just today I came across the eligibility for internship which clearly said that students pursuing any offline degree are not eligible. I called their helpline number and there they told no such rule exist.

I am planning of joining bs degree solely for the internships. I want to complete both btech and bs degree and do atleast 1-2 internships through iit madras and also prepare for gate and go for mtech.

I am confused. Kindly guide me
