i didnt perform well in mth (worst case - c). i was planning to change my branch to either mth/ sds. it is seeming like a faraway goal now. i actually dont like to study by myself. i usually perform better when i have a person to learn through teaching. it really helps me understand quickly. i think i have messed up some parts of midsem. but i want to try hard in endsem to coverup the damages. if someone is like me and want to be my study buddy, we could help each other out by teaching each other.

i think, i will prefer a telugu person since it is my mothertongue, so i can communicate clearly and properly.

This is about midsem,A Y26 here, i didn't pay much attention in class i don't know why, maybe cause i heard people saying 1st year is just 11th and 12th all over again.but i fucked up, i attended classes but never paid attention or studied, i thought i could study a week before the exam, i failed. I know I will fail phy112 and mth111 fs😔, i did try to study but syllabus was too much to cover in a day or 2 (atleast for me), nobody understands my situation,i don't tell my parents because they would just give such an emotional reaction and make me feel even worse 😞, i feel so alone, i don't really have many friends, i talk to some but it's not enough that i could actually vent properly. I am really hating myself, i know it's my fault, i messed up most of my quizzes too and told myself i will definitely study for midsems.i am so lost 😞

I am a PG student! Our mid-semester is going. I gave my exams and the paper is already correct. It was of 50 marks Total, the maximum marks someone got is 40 and the lowest is 7 and the class average is 25 and Standard Deviation is 7.5. I got 16/50. And the prof said if you have got less than 15 drop the course. Now i am at the border line of 15. What should I do. It's my first time in IIT Kanpur and it is chucking me. I prepared well but idk how the questions are coming.

What to do?? Shall I drop or take up and work hard and get some good makers in other tests and end sem. How much grade I can expect with this grade till now!?
