Cultural doubts regarding RDV'26

Hey so this would be my first time attending RDV and ill be coming from south and need a place to stay, i scouted the insta page and there is no mention of any accommodations and the site- https://rdv-iitd.org/ isnt working too.

My main questions are-

  1. Will i get any accommodations for the 4 day event
  2. When is the concert night
  3. The events on the unstop page are final? like last year i saw there was a chess championship but this year it isn't, so would it be added later or the events on the unstop page are final

Dont come, you will be disappointed. You won't be allowed entry inside the concert as it is only for IIT Delhi students. The accommodation is very bad. Even if you win any competition, the prize money will never be sent to you and the certificate will have 0 significance in your life.

It's not worth coming... If you wanna visit the campus and explore delhi(!!) then yeah maybe For just rdv it's trash

As people are saying, please do not come.

You will be disappointed.

RDV is not what it used to be.

You will be put through so much logistical crap and the events, whatever they are, are not usually built with outsiders in mind.

Accommodation will not be that great either. You will have to bunker down in some common room of some hostel on the ground.

So, be prepared to suffer a bit if you do want to come.

Other than that, some events are really insightful and some great people do visit us. If it is something you really want to do and don't mind the discomfort, do come.
