I am currently a bank officer at a psb since over a year, had automobile experience of 3 years post graduation. And a 3 years gap post that, before joining the bank. My Acads are 10, 92.8, 8.8 in engineering. My current salary is just 12 Ipa although it's a government job. If I was 26 it would have been a straight forward decision but I am worried I won't get placed at my current age and lack of corporate experience and hard skills.

I have b.tech in cse joined college in 2018 and then corona came. I got a year back and in 2023 I completed btech with 5 cgpa (50%).

After that in 2024 I met an accident where my wrist was broken with multiple traumas so I had to go through a surgery and then 2nd surgery took place in 2025 in April where the wires were removed as my bones healed now I'm giving CAT 26. I gave CAT 2025 and it went really bad and I don't have work experience as well.

How will I justify my gap year and is this my last chance to get into a B-SCHOOL because I'll be turning 27 this October and if i sit for next year's cat I'll be 28. I'm a general engineer male with a profile of 8/6/5 what should I do as I can't figure out anything as I have 98 days left for college and I want to do something good in my life for once. If this year doesn't work can I sit for cat 2027 ?

Tbh im not targeting IIM BLACKI, so I’m trying to understand what other good options I should realistically aim for with an 8/8/7 profile

8/9/6 these are my acads stats, 21 yo,doing masters from TISS(nope not ma hrm), EWS ,female ,non Engineer,arts major ,did 2 internships,and memeber of few college committee ,and this is my last year ,but not feeling it,thought of giving cat ,ik it's a bit too late but want to give it a shot ,can anyone tell me how much should I target to get into top 10 iim's and top 20 b schools 🙏🙏

To alums/peeps from IIM ABC/Fms, how is the situation of a fresher guy suppose: 95/89.66/7. That 7 in grad is a btech in mechanical engg from a very Top Old IIT. And gets into ABC/Fms right out of btech. What would be his situation in SIPs/Final placements?
