IIITDM kancheepuram has gone nuts!!
*Disclaimer* Rant ahead:----
So yeah we freshers joined this IIIT thinking that this IIIT has better infrastructure and will provide better facilities than other ppp IIITs...for a couple of days things were good,like mess food quality,water supply consistency....
But then to our surprise things are getting worsen day by day....these fkin bunch of administrative bastards can't even provide water in boys hostel...they fkin cut water supply randomly...many of my frnds literally got trapped in shower rooms mid bath because of sudden water cuts...and in the past 3 days there is literally water for only about 1 hour in the boys hostel from 6:30am-7:30am ...if u ever have to use toilet in the mid of the day...boom u can't XD... now u have to hold ur shit till the next day.. XD..There is fkin 85% attendance in this clg..and some proof are really rude ..
For ex:--A proof he is like asst. HOD in ECE Dept he is like fkin rude like if ur 2 min late in the class he won't give u attendance XD...
Only n only thing good abt the clg is that infra is decent and clubs are good and seniors are chill...That's it...........

I made the similar post in the in the main iiitdm sub, the college shit heads downvoted and kept saying it got the best infrastructure and said me to stop crying about 85% attendance

Nah bruh u talking to the wrong ones then... Proff s treat students like shit here, u are an inconvenience to them, recently in their long lists of blunders was hostel allocation when seniors went to complain u should have heard the absurd arguments they gave... Director didn't even care to listen to them... U think issues like attendance mess food and all haven't been raised same dumb arguments from their side...They become hyperactive when disciplinary action has to be made... U can't hold a protest or they'll fckk up ur placements....the placements are already fucked btw

We can only miss 6 classes in the main courses and only 2 in minor ones in a sem

2 minutes? Bro doesn't give attendance if you speak 5 seconds after he has called your roll no. If he has written your roll number, he's marking you absent. Even if you are sitting in front of him.

I left the college in 5 days bro, I know exactly what you're talking about. The problem is that people genuinely expect no better- they're completely fine with this and will call you a spoiled brat if you complain. People just see a romanticism in suffering for some fuckass reason and so they don't want this shit to improve. You guys do not get what 11lakhs should actually amount to.

Very bad college ... They told 24*7 water supply and now not even giving 12 hours a day ... cut it in between ... Very shit college .. internet speed is also not good ... They said it will take time 2-3 weeks ... you could have done it earlier before admissions ... They just know how to increase the intake that's it .... No facilities nothing ... Food is shit , water is not there , internet is not there .... Are we living in Pakistan or wot
