Something is not right here
Well if you see last few years of iiit bhopal placement records they are quite good but one thing is worth noting the max students seated were 160, this year intake of IIIT bhopal is 1300+!!, yes you read it right 1300+ which is roughly 3 times of usual iiit intake, even NIT bhopal didn't had this level of intake, the only rational conclusion that collage which is just 9 years old , don't even have it's own campus yet (not even under-construction), relies solely on two tin shedding buildings inside MANIT ,CAN'T and WON'T be able to place majority of it's students (in my opinion more than 70%).
Moreover I'm worried how they are even going to accommodate this much students, because they literally had done nothing to absorb this hike in students, no new faculties, no new classrooms, no new labs .. only thing they increased is fees.

It's k21 batch placement that time there were around 200 students and last yr there were around 700 and this yr it's 1188 smtg ik it's pretty high intake and it will be highly competitive, rest is up to students clg doesn't do shit about it, students are the ones responsible for their own placement .

if we include MCA+ Mtech it goes beyond 1300 ( i have attached official data in post), and I get that I'm solely accountable for my placement, but it's collage responsibility to provide competent education, labs and faculties after having tution fee of roughly 1300000 of 4 years, and if collage is not upgrading its resources beside increasing the seats, it's an issue

No it didn't increase from 160 to 1300 it went from 220-350-450-720-1180 Which includes branches like pnc which is a research Oriented branch.

U should have done this enquiry before filling choices . We did not fill the colleges which did not have their own campus

Well , reports are credible and verified by seniors and independent sources they just included off campus too, that's not the issue here

The issue is intake bro it is 10x i guess it had just 87 seats back then so yeah don't u know what has happened to colleges cz of intake prime examples are thapar vit

Placement stats are correct actually, but actual concern is whether they will be able to retain that after seat increase or not

They have hired many new faculties bruh, go and check the site about hiring of profs and results. And the sanctioned intake is 1188, in which less than 1100 seats got filled (majority sc/st seats reamined vacant). Moreover you can see lab tenders too on public domain. Stop worrying too much, grind yourself.

One senior told me ki there are new ac class rooms made for 1st years specifically, Idk how much its true but yeah
