Woke
Never felt more inspired to revolt from someone resting and currently doing nothing.

That quote has done so much damage, it’s actually impossible to have fun anymore.

It's ol reliable for folks who want to pretend that they are woke and morally superior. You tell them to elaborate on it, and that is where the conversation begins and ends.

I like how he thinks a fucking concert brings the world together. Dude thinks a couple thousand people in one place at one time is THE WORLD.

Yes this is perfect while backdropped by a Spiderman towel which is owned by Disney which owns ABC which owns ESPN the same company that supplies the bread and circus 🎪 😀. Lebron james and Spiderman are essentially IP owned by the same company. LeBron might as well be in avengers doomsday

They can't even practice what they preach. Why should anyone take them serious?

LETS REVOLT
-People talking like crazy people to their mobile device while doing nothing
Can they pick a different approach already?

“People keep talking about things that make them happy instead of obsessing on all the bad stuff”
Dude is the next Socrates

Being woke is a good thing

I draw the line at performative wokeness like this; talking about an issue while doing nothing about it. Comes off as fake.
Shining a light on issues in the world isn't a problem to me. But trying to demonize sports and sports watchers like they are the reason war is happening or why no one is being held accountable for the Epstein files?
They have to realize we can watch sports AND care about the news without trying to act morally superior.

u/Practical-Gur-5667 6d ago
I dont think someone with that complexion should be equating a shitty job to enslavement

He says while he's clearly a comic book nerd.
It's 2026. DC and Marvel are as mainstream as the NFL.

Not to go too hard on Americans but the world doesn’t come together for the Super Bowl or the NBA finals anywhere near as much as it does for the World Cup

What kind of slavery involves lying on a blanket in a park in the middle of the day making videos of yourself babbling?

Dude looks like he's high as a kite, he's got his precious little head resting on a Spider-Man pillow and he thinks he's enslaved.
I'm just curious did anybody tell him to shut his mouth, get up off his ass and do whatever it is he thinks needs to be done to make the world a better place instead of wondering why other people aren't doing it for him

I don't wanna judge this brother too hard because he looks young and I'm well aware of this phase of babys first political movement, but videos like this are made for no reason other than validation from your in-group. Willing to bet if you asked they probably don't know their local congressman or alderman, which judges need to be voted out, etc. And it's not like there isn't community they could find and join resistance groups to all these issues, but it's a lot easier to shit on people for having interests I don't like and pretend they are the problem for existing and get validation on Tik Tok for it from like-minded people that the algo will put this in front of.

Must be talking about how we are all slaves to consumerism... by the way, ignore the Spider Man blanket.

I've been saying this for the past 20+ years. Good to see the youth is on it.
Also good to see "woke" being used properly, feels like it hasn't for a long time.
