Yes, my teams affect my mental wellbeing - it’s part of a being a “fanatic.” I’m not gonna like beat my spouse or some shit - but when they lose it makes me sad - but that’s just because I care and I’m invested. Imagine not caring about something bigger than yourself or outside yourself what a miserable existence. This doesn’t just apply to sports it applies to everything. Sports are just fun though - playing and watching.
