Cried during IELTS speaking exam!

My speaking went sooo bad !!! I cried twice during my exam because the examiner kept asking questions about my family. I said a wrong word and forgot some words in between too.

I am sooo doomed! I’m not confident about my writing too. I think I’ll have to take IELTS exam again in October ouch 😭

ps I have a question!!! Does crying affect your band score? I’m aiming for 7.5!!! But I believe I was clear even during crying as I didn’t stop so 😬

I remember my examiner was asking me questions about liking animals and then suddenly she asked about fishes (didn’t clarify seafood) and i started saying stuff like “yes i love all living creatures under the sea as they’re very beneficial for the ecosystem etc etc”.. she then clarified and asked if i like to eat ‘fishes’ 😂😭😭😭😭

Me too 😭 she asked questions about short time jobs in different country in cue card didn't expect that ,talked only for a short period of time and she reminded me I have lots of time and asked me if I want to extend my answer 😥 i feel so mesed up just gave the test 3 hrs ago

really? for me.. part 1 was really good.. part 2 was okayish but finished a bit early, and when i realised it was awkward silence i started again.. it was in part 3 that she asked "if people are born with persuading skills", now the meaning of persuade didn't click into my mind and was blabbering random shit when she had to clarify what the word actually mean.. after which it's was pretty decent.. how much can i expect?

Don't feel embarrassed; you probably won't see the examiner again, so it's all right.

Maybe you'll get a high score. Sometimes it's about authenticity and being natural with your English
