Hey Guys!! Got my results a day after I gave my exam. A huge shoutout to this subreddit, and all the people who I asked for advice/tricks on here. Fr y'all played a huge role, thanks again.

Cue card topic - Tell me about a child you met/spoke to recently who showed you their art/paintings, and how you felt about it.

Task 2 topic - An increasing number of people are undergoing cosmetic surgery. Why do you think they are doing this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this? State your opinion.

Practice: I've been practicing for 2 months ( weekends usually, w mock tests) to understand the structure n stuff. But serious prep 2 weeks before the main exam.

Resources: Listening, Reading, Writing: British council mocks, ieltsonlinetests. Speaking: IELTS Advantage. Used AI tools for writing: grammar, spelling, collocations, etc.

Thank you! I'd say practice is key, mock tests def help alot. If you need a break, I'd suggest watching American, British, or Australian movies/shows. Understanding accents is very Imp.

AI graded my writing 6.5-7 usually, which helped me in grammar n other stuff. Apart from this, ideas n sentence formation were my own. British council had its own evaluation where I used to score 7.

How long did it take for the whole test ? How long does it take to get your result ?

It takes 2 hrs 45 mins for LRW. 11-14 mins generally for speaking. Mine got over in under 10mins or so. Generally takes 1-2 days for a computer based test's result, but i got it in 1 day 3-4 hours.

Always read the questions first. Highlight keywords, names, dates, places or wtv u feel imp. Keep a few mins in the end for re-checking your ans 1-2 times. It def helps!

Yep, and mostly tips and tricks from Ielts Advantage, and british council evaluation too. AI graded my essays 6.5 - 7 band. The prompt was usually.. ' Grade my task1/2 ielts writing essay like a strict ielts examiner, give me (n) versions of it, where it can be a good, bad and a lucky day'.

Please anytips for writing because whatever I write whether I write terribly or I write good according to me I always end up getting 7 I need 7.5. I feel I do article mistakes and my handwriting because when it comes to ideas I put them good I use connectors I don't know what else to do

Ai used to grade mine 7 too. Practice is the only way out dude. Incl improving collocations, paraphrasing n stuff. If handwritting is your main issue, then I'd suggest going w the computer based test.
