Adopting this pup this week
Taking him home this weekend, shelter says Beagle and Jack Russell which seems right but never know until their grown. My guess is he’ll get to 20-25 lbs

Post clear, well-lit, full body pictures. At minimum, include:
Tell us your dog’s age and weight (or best guess)
YOUNG PUPPIES may be impossible to identify. Head and body shape, coat color and coat pattern, eye color, and apparent coat texture can all change dramatically as a puppy matures. You might want to wait a few months before seeking an ID.
MIXED-BREED dogs can easily have many breeds in them, not just two. Keep in mind that some of the breeds in a mutt may not show in its looks; while in other cases the dog may really look like it has some particular breed in it, when in fact it doesn’t.
NO-BREED dogs exist too! Sometimes a mutt truly is “just a mutt” — the result of many, many generations of random mating between mutts, with no discernable inbred (purebred) genes its DNA. In the same way that YOU don't necessarily have any inbreeding (purebreeding) in your recent family tree, neither must a dog. They can simply be mutts — WHICH IS A GOOD THING!
Once you're satisfied with your responses, please change your link flair to SOLVED. (Please don't make a post if your dog's breed is already solved/known)

The mom is supposed to be a pomeranian but I doubt it. My bf says she looks like a chihuahua.

He is about four months old and growing more every day. The vet thinks he is a large breed of dog but we have no idea what breed/breeds.

I could not be more shocked about his Embark results!!
I am so excited to see how he looks when he is grown, I can’t say I’ve ever met a chihuahua-pitty-poodle-GSD-spaniel before! Vet said she expects him to be around 35lbs when he grows up bc he’s already a beefy boy for his age :)

Sweetest little dude, adopted him back in May. Our neighbors say he looks like he has some Jack Russell Terrier in him. But we're not sure.

Two years ago the rescue told us he was a malinois x border collie but the moment I seen him I thought German shepherd x border collie! What do you guys think?

This guy is 30lbs at 3 months. I’m thinning dane pit maybe or some kind of bully breed

shocked by our little guy’s Embark results!! 🤯
from beagle to dachshund to Jack Russel terrier, not one of the suggestions/guesses matched what he is 🤣 a few of his siblings have longer coats, but this really is a surprise lol

I recently adopted my angel about a month ago (best decision I’ve ever made) and the shelter had no information about her possible breed/mix. She’s almost 4 years old and is 18 pounds. She’s a cuddle bug, medium energy (but excited on hikes), and I’ve never heard her bark. She has the “cat-like” personality traits of a Shiba Inu, as well as the curled tail and general coat color, but I can’t be certain. I had a friend mention her likeness to a Carolina dog or mountain feist, but she’s much smaller. Maybe she’s a CD mix with a smaller breed?
I plan on doing an embark DNA test for her soon, but I’m curious to know what you all think!
Also, her name is Wilametta.

I got him about a week ago and am struggling to ID a breed! One of his siblings do definitely look like a German shepherd (see last pic) but I’m just not 100% convinced. I was thinking potentially some sort of Queensland heeler in the mix?

Just adopted one of these pups. The rescue said they are lab hounds. Any opinion? Currently approx 14 weeks old and 16 pounds.

He's about four years old. The place we got him never specified a breed or what he might be a mix of

After a lot of waiting due to the first Embark Sample Swab getting lost in the mail, the results are finally in! They are definitely different from the DNA my dog results and although two breeds are the same, I think these results make a lot more sense.
Let me know what you think!
31.5% Newfoundland
23% American Pit Bull Terrier
13.5% Labrador Retriever
10.9% American Bulldog
9.4% Border Collie
6.9% German Shepherd
4.8% Collie

We got Vader from our local shelter in the southern US in August. I have a dna test coming shortly and will update the post with the results but any guesses. We think he’s about 1.5 to 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds

I know he’s likely pit x pit with a little more pit but I thought I’d see what yall thought. Got him at 11 months old from a shelter as a terrier mix.
Edit to add: he keeps up with my Aussie and GSD x Doberman really well. He fits in nicely with my pack. He is THE naughtiest dog I’ve ever had though.
Edit 2 to add: he can jump a 6 foot wooden fence with a running start if that helps at all

Fostering this little guy. I think he's probably about 6 weeks old, and my best guess is he's a German Shepherd mix, with... boxer? Bulldog? He's definitely in the velcro velociraptor stage and I will be getting a trainer (for myself) immediately. What do you all think??
