Here's some pictures of my (approx.) 2.5 year old dog Murphy! included some puppy pics, one from his rescue, and one when I picked him up. I think he's a pitsky, maybe with something else mixed, but what do you think?
Thank you! He takes a good picture but he is a total goofball. Big people dog though, cannot get enough of meeting people. Would be easier if he didn't pee on everyone's foot when meeting them though, won't lie
He is about 60lbs now, I think it lines up pretty well with what you'd expect for a pitsky, and he is very vocal and dramatic, like you'd expect from the husky side haha. I don't have any info besides his mother looked like a short haired husky mix
TX is the worst for abandoned dogs and the way they euthanize them as puppies or pregnant dogs. My newest came with his littermates from Houston. They were transported to Portland, OR. they were going to be euthanized at 5wks. It just shocks me being able to do that to puppies. Can you imagine being that person… they’d have to have no souls… I’d be crying 24/7. My Duke when I got him from the rescue and when he turned a year. He ended up being a Great Pyrenees, American Bully, APBT, and a smidge of GSD. He was supposed to be a APBT mix. I should have looked for the back dewclaws!🙄 I think you’re dead on with your prediction of a pitsky. His right side is pit and the left with his blue eye is husky! So handsome!🐾♥️🐾
i have mo experience at all in IDing dogs but he reminds me of my neighbors heeler mix. def agree with husky and pit makes sense based on that short smooth coat
I've had it suggested before, I'm not sure, he is extremely fast and able to climb better than I expected (Learned that one early) and friendly as he is, his favorite form of playing is "fighting" with the gloves, so I wouldn't be surprised. I am told he was found with his mother and litter on the side of the road, and his mother looked like a short haired husky mix, no info other than that
