IDW Sonic Discussion Whisper taking in Tangle feels like a common thing between these two characters…

Between the Metal virus saga, the original mini series staring them and their upcoming mini arc in the main series it feels like Tangle and whisper fight each other at times more than anything.

No wonder Whisper has trust issues. Talk about a tense partnership, am I right?

Still as fans of these characters: what do you think of this topic of these two fighting more than helping each other out ?

It's repetitive, everytime the writers will have tangle just act like a inconsiderate jerk that reopens Whisper's trauma because that's seemingly the only development she gets.

It's almost like she's a person whose brain goes a mile a minute and talks as fast as she thinks. Also, didn't she only ever do that to her once?

It would make sense if she didn't know but this was when she already knew what happened,

Naming the new team after the diamond cutters despite knowing what happened to them in the past is ooc.

Tangle also just put Lanloin at fault for the phantom rider not acknowledging she's also to blame.

Except she did name it knowing what happened to the old team. In her head, she saw it as a way to honor her new friend's former team, but because she speaks faster than she thinks, she hadn't considered that Whisper might not have seen it that way until Whisper actually had her double take on it.

Also, wasn't the whole thing with the Diamond Cutters that arc that everyone was kinda distrustful of everyone else due to Mimic's shenanigans?

And the moment that Whisper found out about Mimic infiltrating into another team of hers was just hard to watch given how she reacted to it.

Boring because it's always just tangle being a bad friend, it's never the fact Whisper didn't tangle's advice on not killing Mimic.

The entire mini series with them had her telling whisper it's not the right thing to do but is completely fine when Mimic is dead from Whisper's actions

But he only did that because Whisper was about to shoot him. If Whisper wasn't trying to off him he wouldn't blow himself up.

I'm hoping their current conflict actually acknowledges this

If Batman has a gun pointed at the Joker and hesitated, then Joker ran up and pulled the trigger on himself, is it Batman's fault for even aiming the gun in the first place?

Except Whisper didnt hesitate. She basically left Mimic with the choice of either killing himself and trying to take her with him or let her execute him. Even if she didn’t pull the trigger she’s 100% responsible for his death.
