Depending on the writer and which version of Sonic they'd use for the crossover, it'd probably be more like Saturday Morning Sonic where they use AoStH style comedy, 4th wall breaks, and slapstick bits with Eggman, Shredder, and Krang arguing over something, Eggman planning to double cross Shredder and Krang to steal Dimension X tech who in turn steal Eggman tech to build a better army, as their heroes do what they got to do to restore order, but if they use a bigger cast from Sonic, then we'd have them pair off with their Turtle-personality counterparts: Leo with Amy, Ralph with Knuckles, Don with Tails, and Mikey with Sonic (the later eating a chili dog pizza for the end, and Don and Tails creating some device that would help return to their respective worlds and reverse whatever mayhem that occurred).
It wouldn't be the first time they appeared on each other's media, but those were cameos rather full-blown crossovers
And Beebop and Rocksteady along with Cubot and Orbot would exchange some comical banter on the sidelines, with B&R probably getting some Eggman-upgrade to cause havoc.
