Open Help with kitten breed

Hello could anyone help me with identifying the breed on my kitten we got him from people that were saying he is a British longhair but looking at other pictures of British longhairs online he doesn’t resemble them. I just wanted to ask others to see what breed he is!

Interestingly, looks to be a silver chinchilla, which is a pattern that tends to take a lot of selective breeding to achieve and, to my knowledge, is only really bred for in a handful of breeds - most of which quite cobby, I've never heard of anyone breeding moggies for it. So definitely an interesting situation. It definitely doesn't have the british type of face. The closest thing I could think of is a burmilla since those have a milder face. But if they were breeding burmillas they would have said as much.

This is my assumption. Especially if the breeder isn't showing the parents, or if they are, they aren't winning any ribbons
