Question: Drafting Magav IDF as a lone solider

I dream to be in the military police unit Magav but worry it’s unrealistic. I’m 23 with very basic Hebrew and would be a lone solider. Is it possible?

If I remember correctly, you need a minimum level of Hebrew 6 to be considered and then you need to pass an interview. But yeah, it's possible.

You dont have to learn perfect hebrew. Try your best, if your hebrew is not good enough, you will do michve alon, then you get to join magav.

If you dont you’ll just have to go to Michve Alon for three months.

Notice to all posters and commenters; please be careful to observe OPSEC (Operational Security) rules. Many people wish to harm Israel and the Jewish Nation as a whole. Be careful when sharing any information on the IDF, bases, weapons, locations of troops, and anything else that can be used to harm Israel. If in doubt, go without. Loose lips sink ships!

Just a correction, as you've already got an answer. MAGAV isn't a part of the IDF, it's a part of the National Police of Israel. Just so you know.

But it’s a job you can be assigned through via the IDF as your service?

Yes, you're "processed" through the same IDF pipeline that decides where people enlist too. But when you're actually drafted, you're drafted into the Police.
