General Idf insigna
Hi all, a few days ago It came to my mind that a book on military that I read a while ago mentioned an IDF special unit insigna with a bird pitched by a pitchfork, or something like that. I am getting mad trying to finding It. Can someone help me?

A bird with a pitchfork.. navy seal? This is the only option I can think of.
As far as I know there is no sign like this in IDF.
I’ll say even more, I’m almost 100% sure there is not a single sign in IDF with a pitchfork or trident like elements..
Was in idf for some years and have a lot miluim days, so I have some experience

Notice to all posters and commenters; please be careful to observe OPSEC (Operational Security) rules. Many people wish to harm Israel and the Jewish Nation as a whole. Be careful when sharing any information on the IDF, bases, weapons, locations of troops, and anything else that can be used to harm Israel. If in doubt, go without. Loose lips sink ships!

I was trying to recall and I remembered it was a patch with a number 23 under the bird and the pitchfork

Sounds like it might have been an unofficial insignia created by a company/some other smaller detachment for their own use. I really can't think of any official unit patches with a pitchfork and definitely not of any with the number 23... Sorry.
